Discover the charms of San Miguel de Allende, the colonial town with a rich culture and thriving culinary scene that was just voted 2017’s world’s best city by Travel & Leisure. The Bokeh Club brings you an incredible opportunity to explore this beautiful, walkable city with Sony Artisan and internationally acclaimed master photographer, Scott Robert Lim.
During this five day, five night workshop Scott will teach you vital aspects of on-location portrait photography with live, hands-on shooting tutorial sessions with models, street photography and landscape photography. This workshop is designed to give the photographer all the tools needed to capture amazing environmental portrait images.
You will learn:• How and where to compose the right shot when confronted with an unfamiliar location• Where to find great available light• What type of light to use – available, flash, video light or a combination• How to create dramatic and fine art photos• How to pose your subjects and maximize impact• How to take a great head shot• How to create images with the WOW
Along with Scott, The Bokeh Bokeh will provide one additional representatives to assist with all of your technical questions. With enrollment capped at only 20 participants, there will be plenty of one-on-one time for attendees to spend with Scott.
When you are not shooting with Scott Robert Lim, you will have the opportunity to relax at La Gruta hot springs, shop El Tianguis market, visit the pyramids of Otani, explore the iconic Parroquia Church, enjoy the stunning Mexican folk Baroque architecture, eat at one of San Miguel de Allende’s global-inspired restaurants or view the whole city high atop a rooftop bar.One of the added benefits of a Scott Robert workshop is connecting with other photographers from around the world of all ability levels willing to share and help one another. Instructor Bio: Scott Robert Lim is a certified master educator and has over 70 international awards to his name, including top Ten Most Influential, Kodak Award, World’s Top Wedding Photographers and has been a judge at many international photography competitions. His work has been published and viewed by thousands all over the world and he is a popular speaker on Creative Live. For the last decade, Scott has dedicated his career to developing world class photographers. He loves teaching photographers of all levels. He has an energetic and charismatic speaking style and is an industry leader in photography education.
Cancellation policy:If for any reason you need to withdraw, please notify us at least 75 days before the start of your workshop. At that time we will refund your deposit, less a $300 cancellation fee. If notification of cancellation is made less than 75 days before the start of the workshop there will be no refund. The Bokeh Club reserves the right to cancel a reservation if full payment has not been received by 75 days before the start of the workshop. The Bokeh Club is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies. We highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance. In the event that a workshop must be canceled due to inadequate enrollment, all fees and deposits are refunded in full or may be transferred to another workshop within 12 months. The Bokeh Club is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets in the event of a workshop cancellation. Please check on your workshop status before making travel arrangements.
